When you paste a link, our backend asks the platform's public API for the video's metadata and CDN URLs, using preview-user-agent tricks that make the platform serve clean metadata. We extract the highest-quality file, sign it with a time-limited HMAC token, and hand it to your browser as a direct download URL. The whole process takes 2–8 seconds and nothing is stored on our servers.
Downloading for personal, non-commercial use is generally considered fair use. Re-uploading someone else's content as your own, using it in commercial projects without permission, or stripping creator attribution may infringe copyright and violate the platform's Terms of Service.
